First Aid

WSP UK First Aid Qualifications have been developed in accordance with guidelines from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Skills for Health, and in alignment with the most recent advancements in practice. WSP UK qualifications are crafted to empower individuals to handle medical situations and provision in the workplace.

Depending on the level and nature of qualification required, employers/employees can choose one of our three qualifications

Designed for learners wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, minor illness and injuries. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

Who Need This qualification:

Designed for learners wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, minor illness and injuries. How long will it take?

To complete this qualification learner should expect to undertake 8 hours of learning, with a minimum contact time, excluding breaks of 6 hours typically over 1 day.

This qualification has been developed for those already working, or preparing to work, in the industry and who have been identified in the company’s first aid risk assessment as being required to provide first aid in the workplace.

How long will it take?

Delivery would typically be through a 3-day training course (24 hours).

This qualification is designed to provide learners with the first aid skills they require when working in an environment with children. The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is suitable for learners who are responsible for children. Learners will become familiar and react according to an emergency situation with a child or infant.

This qualification is designed to provide learners with the first aid skills they require when working in an environment with children.
